Dario Luiz
Brazilian Evangelist Dario Luiz is a great friend and partner with the work of FGBMFI and Street Angels in Calderdale. Dario's heart is to see people and communities transformed by the power and action of the Gospel.
Dario was a street fighter taking in part in competitions around Brazil. He fell in love with a different girl each week... One day Dario heard the message of Jesus and responded, he became a Christian and has never looked back... He married (thankfully his falling in love week after week went) and became pastor of a church which quickly grew and became a network of churches.
He then felt called to reach out to those addicted to drugs, a growing problem in Brazil.He set up a drug rehabilitation centre, which became very successful at seeing the lives of drug addicts set free and transformed. These centres "Conezao Paz" (Peace Centres) now run in many Brazilian cities seeing the lives of drug and alcohol addicts transformed.
Following the tragic death of his wife Dario felt the call to preach to the nations. Dario has preached in many nations around the world including Pakistan, Inida, Bulgaria, Romania, UK, Canada, USA and Brazil. Dario also set up Firesowers, outreach meetings across Brazil which reach out to over 200,000 people per year and see many healings, transformed lives and people set free.
Dario has visited West Yorkshire many times, and is always a blessing and challenge... We recommend not only a great preacher, evangelist and one with a awesome healing ministry, but also a friend who supports whole-heartedly the work of FGBMFI and Street Angels locally.
